DOUGLAS COUNTY, Kan. (WIBW) – Two Kansas men were arrested on Saturday, July 19, for stealing around $24,000 from the Clinton Marina.
According to a social media post, Douglas County Sheriff deputies have arrested two individuals in connection with numerous recent burglaries that occurred at Clinton Marina from early July.
Based on information received, deputies were able to locate two men, one from Gardner, 19, and one from Lenexa, 20, and take them into custody Saturday afternoon.
Deputies have received reports of several recent burglaries that have occurred at the marina.
As part of the arrests, detectives recovered eight electronic fish finders, valued at about $24,000, including some specifically tied to items reported missing from boat owners at the marina.
