Juvenile found dead in shooting, suspect turns himself in


JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Precinct 3 officers from the Jackson Police Department responded to a call in reference of a shooting near O’Bannon Drive and Sunset Drive on July 20.

When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered a deceased, 15-year-old Black male.

The victim appeared to have suffered from a single gunshot wound.

The suspect, 19-year-old Tyler White, turned himself in to the police. After he was interviewed, White was charged with murder.
