Phones, wallets, pendants among items stolen during armed robbery in Providence

Providence police are actively investigating an Armed robbery that took place in the West End Saturday night.

Around 10:26 p.m. Saturday, police responded to a residence on Noyes Avenue for reports of an Armed robbery.

According to city spokesman Josh Estrella, witnesses told police that three males, including one armed with a pistol and knife, approached a group in the backyard of a home, asking them for “everything they got.”

Police say the suspects took phones, wallets, and pendants from the victims before one suspect attempted to stab one of the victims.
