The male, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was taken a trauma centre with non-life-threatening injuries. He is currently listed in stable condition.
Police said they responded to a call about a stolen vehicle in the area of Kennedy Avenue and Clayton Drive in Markham shortly before 7 p.m. From there, they followed the vehicle to Kennedy Road and Bonis Avenue in Scarborough.
