Tennessee police seek dash cam footage following fatal shooting on I-24

The Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO) has put out a call for relevant dash cam footage following a fatal shooting on a Tennessee interstate.

Police say that 22 year old motorist Noah Taylor was fatally shot while driving at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 12, on I-24 near Waldron Road toward Nashville, near the Rutherford-Davidson County line in Tennessee.

The incident is being investigated as a homicide.

Police are seeking dash cam video to help identify and locate the I-24 shooter.

“Dash cam footage would be advantageous,” said RCSO Detective Thomas Burnett. “We’re interested in information and dash cams from Interstate 840 to the Bell Road exit between 7 and 8 a.m.”

Taylor’s family is offering a cash reward of $2,000. CrimeStoppers is also offering $1,000 for any information leading to the arrest and prosecution of a suspect.

If you have information, you are asked to contact Rutherford County Crime Stoppers at 615-893-7867.
