Tennis player Himaanshika Singh Rajput posted a second video on her Instagram page on Sunday (July 13, 2025) claiming that the life of her friend Radhika Yadav had become miserable ten days before her murder, which, she said, was pre-mediated and planned for three days before she was shot on July 10.

Ms. Rajput had posted her first video on the incident on Saturday (July 12, 2025), labelling it as Part-I, to claim that Radhika, known to her for over a decade, was a “kind soul” and “an innocent person”, but she “felt suffocated at home” with many restrictions as her parents were “orthodox” and “influenced by the opinion of others”.

In her latest video, Ms. Singh claimed that Radhika’s father Deepak had acted under the influence of his friends, who, she said, were jealous of her success. His friends provoked him saying that Radhika wore make-up and short clothes, she claimed in the video, adding that they taunted him for living off his daughter and said that he might as well get her into prostitution.

“Her life had become miserable over ten days before the murder. She had completely given up and was ready to live the way they wanted her to live. But her father had lost his mind. He had no expressions on his face. It was evident that he had psychological issues,” she claimed in the video, labelled as Part 2.

In an over two-minute video, she claimed that she visited Radhika’s house after the incident to find out that her murder was being planned for three days before her father actually shot her. “He had brought a new revolver. Her mother was kept in another room, her brother was also sent outside on some pretext. She has a pitbull called “Luna”, who could have saved her, so the dog too was kept outside the house. Her father waited for the right moment and shot her from behind. Who shoots his daughter five times? What crime she had committed?,” she asked.

“For how long the girls would be killed because of men, for their fragile ego?,” she added.

In a video, a day earlier, Ms. Singh had claimed that Radhika loved to get her pictures clicked and shoot videos, but gradually it all stopped because her parents did not approve of it.
