FARGO (KFGO) – A Fargo woman is in jail and facing an attempted murder charge after a stabbing in north Fargo Saturday morning.
Sgt. Michael Anderson of the Fargo Police Department says officers responded to the 1300 block of 3rd Avenue N. around 9:50 a.m. on a report of a stabbing. The victim told officers a woman he didn’t know was walking on his property and when he confronted her, she stabbed him in the neck and left.
Officers identified the suspect as Jessica McCroskey, 35, and found her a short time later. McCroskey was arrested without incident and booked into the Cass County jail for attempted murder and aggravated assault.
The victim was taken to a hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
