Two people killed in Arkansas crashes on Sunday | The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette


Two people were killed in crashes on Arkansas roads Sunday, according to preliminary reports from Arkansas State Police.

Cheszvell Witcher, 18, of Magnolia was killed around 1:56 a.m. Sunday when the 2002 Chevrolet Trail Blazer he was driving west on Columbia County Road 120 near McNeil left the road and flipped, the report states. No other injuries were reported.

Doreen Gray, 68, of Blytheville died around 3:48 p.m. Sunday when the 2016 Honda CRV she was driving north on Interstate 55 near Joiner collided with the rear of a 2019 Volvo semi truck that was stopped in traffic, the report states. No other injuries were reported.

Troopers investigating each of the crashes reported that the weather was clear and the road was dry at the time.
