SALT LAKE CITY — A motorcyclist is dead after a crash involving multiple vehicles in South Jordan Wednesday night.
According to Master Officer Shaun Becker with the South Jordan Police Department, two to three motorcycles were heading eastbound on 11400 South. Witnesses said they saw the motorcycles traveling at high speeds.
A car collided with one of the motorcycles while turning left on Temple Drive. The motorcyclist, an 18-year-old male, was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the car is in “good condition,” and the motorcyclists who did not collide with the car are “stable.”
Police are conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
11400 South remains closed in all directions until further notice.
