Online market place sale led to armed robbery, police searching for suspects


Police are searching for three suspects in an Armed robbery over the weekend in Southeast D.C.

The victim was trying to sell his watch when he met an alleged robber on an online marketplace. They met around 6:10 p.m. on the 600 block of L Street Southeast when two other people approached, one with a handgun, according to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).

The three men then stole the victim’s watch, according to MPD.

If you recognize these men or have more information, you can call the police or text 50411. MPD offers up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for violent crimes committed in D.C.
