Elderly woman injured in Muncy crash | News, Sports, Jobs


MUNCY – An elderly woman was undergoing medical treatment at UPMC Muncy for injuries she suffered in this accident behind the McCarty Place Apartments, 25 S. Market St., Muncy, where she is a resident, about 11:50 a m. Saturday, according to state police. Driving a Ford Focus, the woman was returning home when she struck some bushes and a parked car before traveling another 15 feet and slamming into a tree. Muncy Area volunteer firefighters and a UPMC paramedic also responded to the crash.
