Man seriously hurt in Montgomery shooting

Montgomery police are investigating a shooting that left a man seriously hurt.

Montgomery police Sgt. Tina McGriff told Action 8 News the shooting happened at about 2:45 this morning in the 1300 block of Eastern Boulevard. That is near the Carmichael Road intersection, just off of Interstate 85.

McGriff said officers found a man with a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital.

No other information has been released.
