LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A second person was arrested Wednesday in a robbery at Holmes Lake.
Anania Ruba, 18, was taken into custody after the Lincoln Police Department searched his apartment near Southwest 27th and West South streets.
A user of the NOW Local News App submitted a photo showing the SWAT team in the area during the search.
The robbery happened on the evening of June 22 on the south shore of Holmes Lake.
A 20-year-old man from Crete and a 21-year-old man from Papillion told police that they were robbed at gunpoint by three males.
The robbers stole a gun, a phone, cash and keys from the 21-year-old, according to LPD.
They also took the 20-year-old’s phone, police said.

In the search of Ruba’s room, investigators said they found two loaded handguns, various drugs, digital scales and cash.
He was arrested on suspicion of robbery, use of a firearm to commit a felony, possession of a firearm during a drug violation, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and possession of money while committing a drug offense.
A 17-year-old boy, whom the victims knew, was arrested in the robbery last week.
Police said the investigation is ongoing.
