ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Mich. (WNDU) – A 20-year-old man is dead, and another 20-year-old man is seriously injured after a single-vehicle crash this past weekend in St. Joseph County, Mich.

Police say it happened on Sunday around 6:30 a.m. near the area of Lafayette Road and Big Hill Road in Burr Oak Township.

The driver was flown to a nearby hospital. He is currently listed in critical but stable condition.

The passenger died at the scene. He has not been identified yet.

Police say alcohol may have played a role in the crash.
