One dead, another critically injured in single-vehicle crash on JTB

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – One person died and another was injured in a single-vehicle crash on J. Turner Butler Boulevard, just before Santuary Parkway, according to the Jacksonville Beach Police Department.

The crash happened 15 minutes before 8 p.m.

As of 10:49 p.m., westbound access to JTB from 3rd Street south, including the northbound and southbound on-ramps, was closed, according to the Jacksonville Beach Police Department.

One person died on the scene. Another person was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

JBPD did not have any further details about the crash.
