LAPORTE COUNTY, Ind. (WNDU) – A 72-year-old Portage man has been arrested and charged in a shooting earlier this week in LaPorte County.
Timothy Pochron has been charged with attempted murder and aggravated battery after police say he shot a 63-year-old man several times on Tuesday night at a home in the 10600 block of County Road 1150 West.
The victim was taken to the hospital, but police say he was later flown to a trauma center for advanced treatment due to the severity of his injuries.
According to online court records, Pochron is due in court for his initial hearing on Friday morning.
