3 killed in head-on Marysville crash identified

MARYSVILLE, Calif. —
Three people, including a teenager, killed in a crash on Highway 70 in Marysville on June 14 have been identified, officials said.

The crash happened around 2:15 p.m. near East 24th Street, the Marysville Police Department said. Two vehicles collided head-on, leaving the solo driver of one vehicle injured and three people in the other vehicle dead. Two additional passengers, including an infant, were taken to a nearby hospital with injuries.

The three people who died were identified as 22-year-old Clint Waddell, 22-year-old Salma Ramirez-Lujano and 17-year-old Michael Mallison, the Yuba County Sheriff’s Office said.
