PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Two men are dead, and a child and mother injured, following a shooting in Philadelphia’s Tioga-Nicetown neighborhood.
Just before 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, officers responded to a shooting on the 1900 block of West Hunting Park Avenue, in the city’s 22nd District.
Four people were shot, including a 7-year-old girl.
Police say the child was grazed by a bullet on the side of her head.
She was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center in stable condition.
The girl’s 26-year-old mother was shot multiple times and rushed to Temple University Hospital.
She is also in stable condition.
Two men, ages 29 and 26, were shot multiple times.
Officers transported them to Temple University Hospital, where both were pronounced dead.
The Homicide Unit is leading the investigation.
Police say no arrests have been made and no motive has been determined.
Neighbors in the area say they’re shocked by the violence.
