2 hurt in jet ski crash at Isle of Palms


ISLE OF PALMS, S.C. (WCSC) – Isle of Palms Police say a jet ski crash injured two people Wednesday afternoon.

Police and the Isle of Palms Fire Department responded to Hamlin Creek in the 100 block of Palm Boulevard just before 3 p.m., Sgt. Matthew Storen said.

Both riders were thrown from their skis and were brought to land, he said.

EMS took both to area hospitals for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources is investigating the crash.
