2 dead after crash in Brown County


A man and woman are dead after a crash in Brown County on Tuesday afternoon.

According to Minnesota State Patrol, a Dodge Caravan was stopped for road construction on Highway 15 in Cottonwood Township when a Nissan Altima collided with it near 170th Street at around 1:47 p.m.

The two people in the Dodge Caravan, 75-year-old Ladonna Mae Mikkelson and 83-year-old Charles Keith Mikkelson, died as a result of the crash.

State Patrol says the 18-year-old driver and two 10-year-old passengers in the Altima sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
