An early Sunday crash left one man dead and three others injured in the Garfield Park neighborhood.
According to Chicago police, a 20-year-old man was driving a blue Ford sedan in the 3800 block of West Lake Street at approximately 3:50 a.m. when he drove through a red light.
The eastbound vehicle slammed into a red Chevrolet sedan, according to Chicago police.
A 22-year-old man who was riding in the Ford was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the sedan, along with other male passengers, were hospitalized in fair condition, police said.
The driver of the Chevrolet, along with a passenger, both declined medical treatment at the scene of the crash.
An investigation into the crash remains ongoing, according to Chicago police.
