1 arrested after late-night robbery in Colorado Springs | Crime & Justice


An arrest was made after a late-night robbery of a business in southeast Colorado Springs, police said.

The suspect allegedly assaulted the clerk of a business in the 3300 block of East Fountain Boulevard, near U.S. 24, before stealing several items from the store and driving off Monday around 11 p.m., according to the Colorado Springs Police Department.

Responding officers located the suspect’s vehicle and began a vehicle pursuit, eventually managing to conduct a forced stop method that disabled it. Police found the stolen items in the vehicle. 

The suspect, Adrian Archibeque, 31, was taken into custody. He is facing charges related to robbery and eluding. Police said no weapons were displayed during the robbery.

Archibeque is being held in the El Paso County jail on a $10,000 bond.
